Theoretical training:
Fly Anatolia Flight School comprises approximately eight-hours theoretical training in the classrooms or online training (zoom). Courses are given in Turkish, English, or Arabic. Then the trainee takes an exam in Turkish-English, German, French or Arabic via the Appi online exam system.
During the applied training part, the trainees take only high altitude flight for the rest of the days.
Flight Training :
Flight Training area is designated as Adapazarı – Serdivan , Tekirdağ- Uçmakdere or Bursa or Pamukkale depending on the weather conditions. Course instructor in charge designates the flight area according to meteorological conditions. Trainees must have Appi 3 license and complete sailing and thermic flight.
Flight Program :
First day theoretical lectures are given. Orientation flight is planned in the 2. day. The remaining flights are task flights (sailing and thermic flying). All type of flights, mainly normal flights and sailing flights take place in the 3-4 and 5. days and the course ends. Trainee is supposed to finish at least 2 or 3 flights by himself/herself without intervention of the trainer and without receiving any command via radio.
Course Program :
- day: Ground training, theoretical lecture and orientation flights
- day: Orientation and task flights (50 sorties from the heights between 45-350 meters)
- day: Task flights (normal, sailing and thermic flights)
- day: Flying all day
- day: Flying all day
- day: Flying all day
- day: In case of missing flights in the previous 6 days, flights continue in the 6th day.
Sortie numbers during Appi 4 Pilot Training :
Total flight number: 50 sorties (from the heights between 45-350 meters)
Total flight time: Approximately 30 hours
