PERFORMANCE COURSES

 1- DYNAMIC SOARING TRAINING

Trainee must have at least Appi 2 or Fai 2 License in order to attend this training. Trainee makes minimum 10 sorties. The trainee lands to the hill at least once during any flight if the condition of the hill is suitable.

Number of the sorties: Minimum 10 sorties are performed from an altitude of 45-350 meters.

Incluted in the Course:

  • Personal accident insurance
  • Paragliding course

Not Incluted in the Course:

  • Accommodation
  • Food & beverage
  • Appi licensing membership fee ( 27 euros )
  • All flying equipment
  • Transfers to the flight areas
  • Transfers to the hill and the mountain

Note : Training activities are planned for maximum 3 days.

Soaring training fee: 750 Euros

2- THERMAL TRAINING

  • Trainee must have at least Appi 2 or Fai 2 License in order to attend this training.
  • Trainee makes minimum 10 sorties.
  • Number of the sorties:
  • Minimum 10 sorties are performed from an altitude of 45-350 meters.

Thermal training fee: 850 Euros

3- BASIC SIV TRAINING

Trainee must have at least Appi 3 or Fai 3 License in order to attend this training.

Number of the sorties:

The trainee makes minimum 4 sorties. All flights are performed over a sea or a lake, equipped with life jacket and controlled via radio communication.

Activities to be done by trainee:

  • SIV exercises:
  • Pitch Control
  • Big ears with speed bar
  • Symmetric Collapse
  • Asymmetric collapse, fly straight
  • Spiral and progressive exit

SIV exercises optional

  • B line stall
  • Roll with and without big ears
  • Dynamic turn
  • 180° turn in opposite side of the collapse
  • Landing with rear riser

4- ADVANCED SIV TRAINING

Trainee must have at least Appi 3 or Fai 3 License in order to attend this training.

Number of the sorties:

The trainee makes minimum 6 sorties. All flights are performed over a sea or a lake, equipped with life jacket and controlled via radio communication.

Activities to be done by trainee :

  • Full Stall
  • Back Fly
  • 90° spin
  • Spin to Back fly
  • Minimum speed
  • Exit from auto-rotation
  • Exit spiral dive (dynamic and progressive)

Advanced optional

  • 360° turns, flat to deep to flat
  • Wing overs
  • Collapses on speed bar
  • Dynamic spin
  • Reserve deployment
  • Glider stabilization (avoid down plane effect)
  • Ground handling: Back fly and spin on the ground
